This past week, the kids and I have been getting fresh air and exercise. The weather has been absolutely beautiful!! 😀

I have been dragging about in the morning, and so the last few days, I decided what I needed was fresh air. So, when the kids go out to feed the cats, I go out to and enjoy the cool air, the birds singing and the kids prancing about. We stay out for about an hour. We start studies later, but the fresh air has been doing me good.

The kids and I have been raking the yard this week too. They then help daddy bag up the leaves, pine cones, sticks, rocks and whatever else we rake up.

Last week, Don got himself a new toy… a riding lawnmower! We didn’t own any type of lawnmower, and our neighbor who use to mow our lawn moved, so we were in need of one. This was last years model, so we got it on clearance with an additional 10% off. Plus, when we went up to pay, it was $50 lower than the tagged price. That paid for the delivery and then some.

We eventually want Donnie to take over, maybe by next year. This year he will learn to use it and go a few rounds with Dad near by. MaryEllen wants to learn to, so they both will take turns.

We still have more raking to do and then that will be it until next fall.
