Today, I got up and spent an hour shredding pork that I had in the crock-pot. We are going to take my mother-in-law barbeque pork sandwiches tomorrow when we visit her. It took me an hour to do that and make barbeque sauce, so I didn’t feel like fixing any kind of breakfast.

Now, I had some hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator from the other day. The eggs were past expiration, so to make them stretch a little further, I hard boiled them.

So, I told the kids to take two eggs each and make themselves deviled eggs. They liked that idea…it was out of the norm. Sometimes out of the norm is ‘fun’. lol!

Can you believe they did not turn from me when I snapped these pictures!! It looks like MaryEllen is here, but she is actually looking at Sunbeam, our *cough* cat! 🙂

Yes, the stray cat found her way into our hearts. 🙂 We are slowly letting her explore around the house. She doesn’t stay long and scoots whenever we make any ‘sudden’ moves.

We still need to take her to be checked out, cleaned and fixed. I’ve never been much for animals in the house, but I guess I will get used to it.
