Yesterday, while the kids were playing outside, they noticed smoke and  asked me where it was coming from. It looked like dirt and I thought maybe someone was turning up dirt somewhere via some type of mobile. As I was thinking, MaryEllen noticed it coming from the trees and exclaimed that it was pollen. We were all wowed! I ran in to get my camera, but by the time I got back outside, it was all gone.

The kids were so kind as to shake a few branches for me so I can get a picture of the pollen.

Luckily the kids do not have allergies. MaryEllen did sneeze, but nothing much. I took the pictures away from the pollen and then went inside until it settled. I don’t know if it will irritate my allergies and I didn’t want to chance it.

Today we are in the mid 80’s. We had to turn on the air conditioner and even brought in the fans. The last few days have been warm and nice. Spring is here. 🙂
