My youngest is twelve!

Donnie’s theme: Avengers
He made his own cake and decorated it too. We decorated with the Avengers tablecloth, plates, cups and banner.

Donnie chose rib-eyes, ramen noodles, and corn for dinner. I had rib-eye and a salad because I am staying away from wheat and starches.

Dessert was his yummy cake and ice cream. Yip, I did have a sliver of his cake and a scoop of ice cream.

For the movie, he chose…Avengers! 🙂 It is such a great movie that we didn’t mind watching it again.

MaryEllen got Donnie Black Widow, which completes his Avengers collection. We got him a few transformers and plan on getting him a Voltron Lion.

Donnie wanted to go to the coffee shop, so we spent a few hours at our local coffee/book shop. It is always a joy to visit, look at books and sip coffee. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures. He chose a chocolate iced latte.

After the coffee shop, we headed to a few thrift stores. Donnie wanted to go thrift shopping in hopes of finding the older Spider-man characters or Voltron toys. We didn’t find any. I did find a few books. 🙂

Donnie is a wonderful boy who enjoys collecting super heroes. He is wonderful at math, but doesn’t like doing it. I love how he makes me laugh every day. He has such a great sense of humor. He is very loveable and still enjoys cuddling with me. He enjoys working with his dad around the house, outside or with the car.

I pray this year he will grow closer to the Lord so that he will be open to hearing what the Lord has planned for his life.
