Happy Birthday Donnie – Welcome to the Double-Digits
At the end of last month, Donnie turned ten years old…double-digits now!! Woohoo!
He spent his morning making and decorating his cake. In the afternoon, he enjoyed some time fishing. After a dinner of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, we enjoyed his yummy cake.
He decided to draw a dinosaur! Transformers or Spiderman were a little out of his league. 🙂
We got him a little something to open on his special day. He had gotten his bike a month before his birthday, so this was something fun to open after we enjoyed the cake. Don found this remote control tarantula on Ebay, something different. Donnie liked it.
[Don’t worry Auntie Reff, we told him he couldn’t play a prank on you when you come visit! ;)]
It is hard to believe another year is gone.
I love you dear! Mommy prays you will continue to grow in Him and strive to be like Him in all you say and do.
I was happily enjoying this post and looking at the awesome pictures of the cake and my handsome nephew when *BAM* I read tarantula….my mind froze for a moment, then I gave a sigh of relief when I read “[Don’t worry Auntie Reff, we told him he couldn’t play a prank on you when you come visit! 😉 ]” What a great sister I have to think of me, LOL.
Tell Donnie HAPPY BIRTHDAY and that I wish him the best year ever! Don’t forget to give him a hug from me too! Love you Donnie! 🙂
