It has been four days now and the kittens are doing great. Mommy kitty, Sunbeam, takes real good care of them. It is great and neat to see the ‘mommy instinct’ take over.

She plays with them, cleans them and feeds them regularly. She trusts us enough to leave them in our care when she wants to go outside.

She is getting use to the house and all its noises more every day. But, if we move too fast or too sudden, she will bolt. In the beginning, we had to keep the door cracked open enough for her to know she can leave if she wants too. Now, we can close it, and she will go up to it and meow if she wants out.

We will keep the kittens until they no longer need their mommy and then we will have to find good homes for them.

Aren’t they sweet?
